Bill Domann

Founder and CEO

Bill Domann founded The Domann Organization in San Francisco in 1988. Combining his previous experience in search and his educational background, Bill started one of the first search firms focused exclusively on leadership for the Life Sciences. Over the course of 25 plus years, he has transformed his many years of Life Sciences industry knowledge, trusted relationships, and modern market insight into a proven recruitment methodology. The firm has grown from one office to three, located in San Francisco, San Diego, and Madison, Wisconsin.

During the course of his tenure, Bill has helped many innovative biopharmaceutical and healthcare companies secure the transformational leadership talent they need for success. He focuses his recruiting efforts at the Board, Board Advisor, CEO, and C-suite Executive levels.

Bill currently serves on the BIOforward Board of Directors in Madison, Wisconsin. He also served on several non-profit Boards, including: the San Francisco Boys and Girls Club, the Northern California Arthritis Foundation and Club Education of San Francisco. He is a past President and current member of the Guardsmen in San Francisco.

Raised in Wisconsin, Bill completed his B.S. degree and graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Bill resides in Rancho Santa Fe, California with his wife and identical twin daughters.

Jovanna Bost

Partner and Chief Business Officer

Jovanna Bost joined the Domann Organization as a Business Development professional in the 1990’s. Today, as Vice President of Market Development and Business Relations, Jovanna oversees Domann’s strategic outreach and marketing efforts. For the past 20 years, she has partnered on select search assignments, focusing on leadership recruitment for Domann’s clients.

Jovanna works with the Domann team to concentrate the firm’s resources and energies on partnering with emerging growth startups and the investment community while developing long-term relationships within the biopharmaceutical and healthcare communities. She is especially proud of Domann’s commitment to sponsoring conferences that bring the investment and startup communities together.

Prior to joining Domann, Jovanna worked as a key member of core executive teams responsible for leading business development and marketing efforts. She worked closely with visionary entrepreneurs of startups Atari, Bose, and MCI, earning her MBA under the tutelage of industry icons.

Jovanna understands the importance of operational excellence and developing long-term partnerships. Her background includes leading a Fortune 500 company’s vertical marketing efforts, where she created a strategic plan and team to proactively manage and grow National Accounts. She developed comprehensive programs geared toward strengthening client relations, and her strategic, milestone driven process resulted in higher client satisfaction and retention.
