Bill Domann -

Founder and CEO

In 1988 Bill founded the Domann Organization. Combining his previous experience in search and his educational background, Bill started one of the first search firms focused exclusively on leadership for the Life Sciences. He has transformed his many years of Life Sciences industry knowledge, trusted relationships, and modern market insight into a proven recruitment methodology. Bill’s 35 plus years of retained executive search experience, network, relationships built on trust, transparency and success are the foundation for the Domann Organization, Inc.

During his tenure, Bill has helped many innovative Life Sciences companies secure the transformational leadership talent they need for success. He focuses his recruiting efforts at the Board, Board Advisor, CEO, and C-Suite Executive levels, Strategic Advisors.

Philanthropy is an important inner fabric of Bill’s character. He has served on not-for profit boards including the San Francisco Boys and Girls Club, the Northern California Arthritis Foundation, Club Education of San Francisco. He is a past President and current member of the Guardsmen, Service to Youth in San Francisco. Bill served on the BioForward-Wisconsin Board of Directors. Bill completed his B.S. degree and graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Bill resides in Rancho Santa Fe, California. You might spot him on his daily walks near Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club with his German Shorthair Pointer, Sir Brewster.

Jovanna Bost -

Partner, Chief Business and Strategic Officer

Jovanna Bost joined the Domann Organization in 1995 and today, as Partner-Chief Business and Strategic Officer, Jovanna has overseen Domann’s community outreach and development the past 30 years. She also partners with Bill on select search assignments, focusing on leadership recruitment.

Jovanna works with the Domann team to concentrate the firm’s resources on partnering with life science communities and candidate marketplace. She is especially proud of Domann’s support of conferences and mentoring workshops, providing startups access to investment and leadership resources.

Prior to joining Domann, Jovanna worked as a key member of core executive teams responsible for leading business development and marketing efforts along with client retention. She worked closely with visionary entrepreneurs of startups Atari, Bose, and MCI, earning her MBA under the tutelage of industry icons.

After refining our selection to a short list of the most qualified individuals, we personally schedule and conduct a series of in-depth interviews. When candidates are selected for final review, exhaustive reference and background checks are completed, providing full transparency to our clients.
